Catalonia is a beautiful Spanish region that hosts four provinces: Lleida, Girona, Barcelona and Tarragona. Catalonia is an extremely picturesque region, guarded by the high peaks of the Pyrenees and bathed by waters of the Mediterranean Sea, so prepare yourselves for breathtaking views and spectacular sceneries. The region manages to stand out with its unique and strong identity, with its amazing culture and with a language of its own. The highly developed region is full of dynamism and packed with places that deserve your attention, so the sightseeing list in Catalonia is long. You should consider it as destination for one of your future holidays, as this surely is the place where you will have a lot of fantastic memories!

The exciting Barcelona

Barcelona is one of the most famous and popular cities in Spain, sometimes even more popular than the capital, Madrid, thanks to the incredible architectural work of Antoni Gaudi. The city is the historical capital of the entire region and hosts one of the most important ports at the Mediterranean Sea. The city is of an exceptional beauty and it impresses tourists with its rich architectural heritage. If you decide to visit it, you are not allowed to miss the Gothic Quarter, because it is the place where you will find the outstanding Cathedral, the Episcopal Palace, the Palace de la Generalitat or the amazing City Hall Building. If you are in Catalonia, you have to make a stop in Lleida, the beautiful city set on a picturesque slope. The citadel is one of its important attractions along with the Cathedral, built between the 12th and the 15th centuries. Costa Brava represents one of the main attractions in Spain, as it is an area of unbelievable beauty with steep cliffs, small coves and delicate beaches.
